Payroll

A payroll run you can review before you pay

Mobiz Payroll turns attendance, leave and salary configuration into a payroll run you can inspect line by line, approve, lock, and reproduce exactly months later.

The run

Nine steps, in order, every month

The same sequence every time, so payroll is a routine rather than an event.

  1. 1Select the payroll month
  2. 2Load eligible employees
  3. 3Pull attendance, leave and overtime
  4. 4Apply recurring salary components
  5. 5Calculate statutory components
  6. 6Make authorised adjustments
  7. 7Validate and review
  8. 8Approve, then lock
  9. 9Generate payslips and reports
Capabilities

What the payroll engine does

Two payroll modes

Derive pay from recorded attendance, or run a fixed monthly salary with manual adjustments.

Decimal arithmetic

Every amount is computed with decimal arithmetic and stored as NUMERIC — never floating point.

Staged review

Warnings surface before approval: negative net pay, zero gross, missing rates and unusual movements.

Variance review

Compare this month against last, per employee, and highlight salary, overtime and deduction changes.

Locking

A locked run cannot be silently edited. Unlocking is permissioned, requires a reason and is audited.

Versioned statutory rules

A run pins the rule set effective for its own period, so publishing new rates never rewrites history.

Employer responsibility

Payroll regulations may change. Mobiz Payroll provides configurable tools based on applicable payroll rules, but employers remain responsible for reviewing and approving payroll before submission to the relevant authorities.
